1. The Graphics. It's still awesome compared to a lot of other games.
2. The Storyline. I love the quests. The Grammar at times is awful, and the storyline at times goes awry, but - at least they try to add twists and turns to the storylines.

pvp style is just so unique from any other game, the #1 reason to play, the triangular conflict was great, but it got some problem after euro update.

Honestly I don't know why I like sro now. I...just like it. Every other mmo I've played hasn't brought the enjoyment I've had in sro.
At first it was the skills + jobbing. Then friends and now even grinding is fun if there aren't any bots. Grinding at mujigis with my nuker (On the day JM implemented the fail anti-bot system) never felt so good.

The only other mmo I had fun with was Warhammer Online. The thing I hate is the run in circles around you while attacking tactic everyone does made it really cheap. People are like "You guys just stand there and bash the hell out of each other instead of run in circles around each other trying to kill the other person, you're noobs. etc. etc." I like the standing there wile bashing each other more than the other. Seriously, you call running in circles around your enemy using an attack that looks almost the same to every other slashing move you have, skill? It may be just me, but I like the more realistic way in that kind of combat. People back then didn't run in circles around his opponent did they?
I guess I've said enough.

OT: If SRO gets an overhaul with updated graphics like Aion, Mabinogi Heros or Blade and Soul then I can see a lot more of us finding something else to love about it again. I hope that the Developers of SRO2 are paying attention to these 2009 games that are comming out.

The Games Graphics are better than any of the other MMO RPG's out there, also the whole game is just awesome, the only downside is it needs CUSTOMER SUPPORT FROM JOYMAX.

but the music is tied to the atmosphere of the game in its early days
when everything was magical
that feeling is long gone

as for the game today, there isn't a single thing to point out.
graphics, gameplay, character building, community, teamplay, market...
i havent seen any f2p game come close to sro.
since the new auto login system is implemented, my main gripe with sro is over : i can login in an hour or two without attending.

but... the game was so magical in the beginning, when everything was new and had soul.
