Let's take an example, a child who is told about the dinosaurs. He never saw a real dinosaur, never saw its bones. The only way he knew about its existence is or from a comic book or his parents told him. And then he started to believe dinosaurs exist. Yes true but the child is able to back up said belief with actual facts, unlike religious texts.
What happened? Everyone in the world experience the same way. You always think that your belief is smt you choose, but actually it's not, it's the community belief. When the communities belief prevent freedom of choice then it isn't right, religios rules arn't even formed by a group or community is is taken from text and shoved down the throat of the masses. If you are gaven no choice in your actions then the only thing that exist is obedience. And I call it an blindly belief. Because you believe in smt your parents tell you so, your teacher tell you so, or you never heard about smt and you consider it doesn't exist. You never questioned yourself why the opposite of your belief can't happen and what stops it from happening. Because what we already know doesn't point to some Deity, also just because it's unkown doesn't mean its god/deity/magic. Unknown does not dictake God, its just very bad reasoning. If from the childhood, you learn things from ppl, but when you grow up, you start to investigate the truth is a different story.True but the facts about dinosouars are pretty solid and accurate, while religion is unclear and subjective.
Now, back to the main topic. Someone mentioned in above posts that "beauty is an illusion of deception". That's a valid statement.
Maybe many of you never questioned yourself "why do I live?" and "what's the goal of my living?". Of course, the first question is kinda impossible to answer. "I was born, I eat, I live, I work, then I die". Is that all? If everything will come to and end sooner or later, so why is it matter to live longer or shorter? Because life is a beatiful thing, you only have one life. There are so many experience that I wish to have, and when I've had my fill I won't regret at my deathbed.
The first question remains an unknown. Let's talk about the goal of your life. Before, I always told to myself that the goal of one's life is to possess 3 of this: love, power, money. With the 3 of this, you can own almost everything in the world.
You need a girlfriend.
That's it. But later, I think about this. If I die, all will become a 0, I can't bring money with me, can't bring power with me, or even my (fake) loves. So I need to find smt I can take with when I die or even leaving smt very valuable. And I think I found it. 1st is my name (if i'm able to achieve smt great and have ppl remembered my name). 2nd is my true love (then when I die, she will stay by my side although I lost everything). When i'm able to find these 2 things, It doesn't matter if I live long or short, I would walk (fly) away with a smile without regret.
(yeah, you can also realize that there are ppl who die, but regret they can't bring everything with him)
Now talking about the illusion of life. Beauty (or desire of shape) is smt that everyone desired. When you go to a bar, why do you always want to talk, drink with hot girls, date with them? It human nature. People are attached to beautiful people. Because of this, you are stopping yourself from meeting other girls (ugly or not). In this case, I call it "you search for love". Imagine the research of love is like a maze with many doors. So you opened the "door Beauty" first. There are many "fake love" in every direction. Weither you found the real one or not depends on your desire to find it, the more you'll confuse yourself that you really found it. The real one it's not something you could find with some dates or having sex together. Sex and love are not the same thing. Your biological desire and perception fool you.
That's really really bad to search for love. Don't try to "search", but "feel" it. And don't just put handsome, rich or talent guy in your charming list but forget about other guy (poor,ugly or not... -.-). There are lots of cases that ppl are friends for years, but suddenly they start loving each other. Its like I'm reading the cliches of every romantic movies out there. I call it "love found you", so in this case you'll really find the real one. Or any love that didn't originate from your personal desire. Whoever like ugly woman suffers the same, because his desire originate from the shape of her face, body, skin color, etc...
Money and power are also illusions. Maybe you ever heard "money is the root all evil". Saying money is the root of evil is the biggest BS in the world. If you want to know why just respond and I'll qoute a speech for you. I didn't say you shouldn't have money, but you need to have enough amount to live. When you date with a girl, sure you will treat her well, inviting her to dinner in a romantic restaurant. Then she loves you, but again, that's just because the way you treat her.
Power? Oh well, who would love a weak man, can't win the rival of life, physically or not? But again, that's just an illusion, you stopped yourself from opening the "door Weak", which could probably lead to the real love. In the end, you love someone because he is "not weak".
Conclusion, most love because of something (that you need, want). It's rare to find someone "love because of nothing" (a pure love) You watch way too many romances. Everything I've read seens to have been pulled from like every taiwanese, chinese, korean drama ever made.
