Its a p2p game, 2 weeks + 5 hours is a lot for a free trial.

On cn i started a new character, sorcerer ... asmodian...
And its hacking awesome xD
Asmodea is far more beautiful then i thought and i love how its rich with colors.

Are soul binding items rare or something? Didn't expect something like this would happen just by simply equipping an item.

Soul bound - Items that you bind with your soul. Basically you need to do that to equip it and after that no one else can equip that item expect you. You can' sell it on the AH only drop it or NPC.
Almost all normal gear drop are soul bound so its not rare at all. I do love that animation.

Oh and that reminded me, while i was playing my asmo mage today i didn't die at all. Actually i didn't even get hit (maybe 2-3 times) in all 10 lvs. After that it was okay, i just needed to be careful not to get 2 agro mobs and and im fine.

And killing that ghost from the tombstone was easy.
Stone Skin > Click tombstone > Freeze ghost > run to max range > ice chain > fire chain till death. Easy

We all play the chinese version. Level 34 Elyos sorc atm.
Lana, trust me...it can get much harder to level as a sorc, never too hard tho.

I know, but its not like you need to die at lv 8
Its true that SM is much easier to lv but i found it more fun throwing bigger spells and teleporting 15m.
And there are classes that can't solo at almost ... coughtemplarcough
Also scouts (sin and ranger) are hell hard to lv till 30.

Yea, if I may offer a tip..I suggest investing in a book at level 20+. Orbs are fine at 20 -..but at higher levels you really start to feel the accuracy loss. You can enhance your book to keep up with orb damage, but you can never increase orb accuracy(I still use my level 29 book + 8 as it way beats out anything under level 37 with its damage).

I always use book, actually i have no idea why i picked orb. To try it out i guess.
Its not for long anyways, im half way trough a quest that gives a book as a reward <which is higher lv and better then the orb>

How are you not getting hit.... I get smacked at least 2 times almost every battle....

I start with flame arrow, the chain attack, and erosion so DoT damage has time to accumulate then I use the ice skill. That's probably why I get hit more but I'm sure it allows me to kill faster.

My level wasn't high enough to buy Stone Skin when I did the tombstone quest.

On my 2nd character I died like 4 times so far. I been trying to practice taking 2 mobs at once.

I was getting chased by 2 enemies near the ship area and I thought I could get away by jumping off a cliff into the water and swimming away...

As A mage I would actually not recommend kiting, we need time to cast our spells. The only time you can kite would be once you get dimensional door. That being said, I think you should always open up with your ice chain, until you get delayed blast, at which point you should open with delayed blast followed by ice chain.

Quick question. Based on the last time I played Aion, which was a month ago, there is no Auction house(?) so you have to do the classic way of stalling your items. Does your time get deducted from stalling?

wait till 36+, you will see sorc kiting elite mobs so easy and cuz of this can lv way faster.... but Sm, and ranger can also do this...

@[SD]bizzle Kiting doesn't seem all that helpful because even when you're about 10m away, they still manage to hit you... Maybe its just lag or something.

Fortunately, I plan on being a Spiritmaster so if I play the class like I should I shouldn't get hit at all. Too bad I won't do too well in the air.

@XemnasXD I prefer to join guilds than make them. Running guilds can be troublesome...
