xbox 360 > computer
I have to ask a question.
Would it be possible to hook up my xbox to my computer monitor and still have my computer on while being able to transfer screens every once and a while? Also is it possible for it to be hooked up to my computer so it goes on my monitor and my xbox gets internet signal that way instead of having ethernet? < I connect to wireless internet im not hardwired.

if you have the ports on the tv you can have both your computer and 360 connected but to get internet via your computer would need some programs and such.....might i add it will probably produce lag?

If the 360 has an HDMI plug then this should work if your screen has a DVI.
I run my PS3 to my screen rather than computer(I could if I wanted to, but don't feel like to lol). HDMI - > DVI. Don't buy the wire from any store near your place, but rather online. I went to Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Circuit City, and some more places.. That wire costed $30+ whereas http://www.monoprice.com/products/produ ... 1&format=2 For less than $5. Of course the stores had like 30ft or longer which is why they're expensive. Bought from monoprice took about 3 days to ship.

Re: xbox 360 > computer
My computer monitor is a TV but considering my TV has a VGA output it was meant to this way so I don't know if that really helps you but I can have as many different things plugged into my TV at one time. Ps2, ps3, computer, cable wires and I just change the channel while leaving the other stuff on....

Re: xbox 360 > computer
how can you have your xbox laying down and not having it rape your CDs?
It took my dear GoW2 when I layed it down.

Re: xbox 360 > computer
hooking up the xbox to the pc monitor has been explained
as for the internet, that is mega easy too. If you have wireless internet then plug your xbox ethernet cord into the computers ethernet slot > go to internet connections on the pc > select both your wireless connection and your wired connection, right click, bridge connections
If you have wired internet on your computer, you'll have to have two ethernet slots on your mobo, if not go to a local computer store and buy a pci ethernet slot adapter, they go for like 5 bucks. Just bridge the connections like in the wired example.

You do know that the X-Box is also meant to be "laying down".
