Destroying Items

Anyone know what the probability of destroying your items trying to + above 5 without immortal is or roughly?

OT - I wish i knew the probability but i wouldn't waste money on an immortal. Just get a steady and back up weapons.

Just follow the market - always someone selling the item u need with immortal That's how i made my shield +7 and set +6 without buying even 1 immortal I'm not spending money on this
But the possibility above +5 for me is as high as it's not worth it to take the risk. Idk if that answers your question

from my experience the destroying probability seems like 100%
just because everytime i failed an item on +6 or +7 when there was no immortal on it, it destroyed
maybe i am just unlucky but i didnt even know that there is a probability on it

So far I destroyed 7-8 items out of 20+

I've never destroyed an item before. I'm not a risk taker.
I wouldn't try going over +5 without immortal though.

probably 40-50% there is a good chance it will get destroyed.
sux when it gets destroyed when going for +7...lost like 3-5 +6
and like 20 going for +6

I think its random, just like alchemy. There is no set percentage, your item will either fail and be fine or fail and break.
