Anyone thought of killing botters with warlock?

When botters are killing giants or pt mobs, cast stun on them, and use all the debuffs(impotent, division, panic etc etc) on them and then make them sleep. The botter will most probably be killed by the giant/pt mob.

And you don't do any damage on them so u wont become a murder. You will only go pink.

Hmm does this work? Can anyone clarify?

The warlock casting the debuffs would go purple..but I guess it could work if u did it while the bot was fighting party mobs

lol just like what you have mentioned, 99% of sro community are bots. So they wont attack you while you are in pink =)
and use bless while you are in pink if possible.. then run all you can or teleport

If they get killed by a mob, you don't get murder status. You didnt murder them, the mob did.

hmm i am asking the same question as well. if nothing happens to you when they are killed by mobs, then it's a very good method of killing bots.

just thought of another thing.. i think sleep don't work on them because mobs will be attacking them so they will wake up from sleep

just don't use those attacks that cause burns on them. furthermore they will have uni pills to pill them off

Believe me 1 bless won't save you.
A party was cleaning goldbots/bots/(union) out of the way in takla.
And had fun zerking whoever goes pink, wiz with turnover in zerk
Of course after they came after me but .. there was no pk2 stealth hack back then .. secondary
cleric so warlock was useless.

Got a nice collection of screenshoots from pink ppl face down.

ps.: Don't forget not everyone is afk. and there is sound alert too

Cast bloody trap (the skull) on the wizzes that plvl ppl. Hit instant return or return to fortress (if you have the fort).

They die, you don't get murder.

Are you kidding me? I walk around Roc Mountain murderer all the time, no one kills me because everyone is afk, and the non afk people are in my union.

Debuffing them works great, take a bard with you and cast Discord Wave on them as well and down they go in about ten seconds. If you are a high level warlock, you can also cast that sleep skill on them and they cant even fight or pot while they die. lol We use that a lot in Venus.

yea i killed 1 gold bot ksing us about 5 times 1 day at penons using that method.

Sleep doesn't work sleep goes away when a mob attacks the player

the thing you need to do is Panic him wich decreases the amount the pots heal and gives them more of a pot delay debuff them to the max and keep stunning them and watch them die

we always do this with a guild in the union to clear a grinding spot of bots ^^ so we can grind there ourselfs

I always thought of that, but when a buddy tried doing that he always failed making it to the teleport. lol

Yep then when back from afk they clean you afking and it keeps repeating til someone moves
Aege maybe 1 or 2 legit player alive rest quit or changed to bot.

if ur lucky they have an item too, sometimes after getting them killed 10-15 times they will drop something out of inventory lol

Once donkyle (at 80 cap) got a 72 sword crit 13 (2h) good blue, sold it to me and I +7'd it. some bot named _Myra_ died to a general and dropped it from inventory XDD

Aege has still a good 200 to 300 Legits in the server
but anways bots useally get tired of dying after 5 times ^^
even if they aren't afk we can mob them and debuff them so bad they die anyways lol
and going from hotan to the grind spot in rock mountain every time takes quite a while and it only takes us a few mins to kill thme everytime

I die 5 times just in lag and getting ganged only lol.
But good to know there is still a few legit left, good old 60 cap times.
Too bad the game changed a lot and not really interested in it that way anymore,
just an other time (and/or) money waste to get in to the cap, but maybe will get some fun
time to time.

I've had some success with debuffing bots with my force nuker. Level 90 division would help a lot in this though.

What about bards...holding or patter clamor?

Never tried it, my holding clamor is only lvl 1, waiting for patter.

Heaven Flash is too low for me too. Would it work if you drag mobs on them and then hit them with a hold?

off topic: I love shield trash, easy way to aggro mobs without killing them, then drag 'em over to a bot. Two GP yetis and three parties got several last night with Losi helping

Most likely it will not work on pure str. glavier/blader.
some1 went pink on me at eye peak...was a warlock/wiz only debuffing when a PG spawn...I pretended to be afk to see if i would die but nop....over 30K hp is just too much then I zerk and kill the warlock lol. he go piss and still kept debuffing me (there was a 8/8 party there pvling, only warlock and a cleric not afk)I kill warlock again..then It stop bothering me and left the area for like a min...next I noticed it came back with Life turn over on..zerk and murder me lol ....I immediately went back to town and reverse return I atk with Ghost spear and did like 30k dmg. o.O meaning that when he left my area for a min...he went to get "naked" then murder me lol...couldn't tell he had no gear cuz of the avatar. was pretty funny when it happen.

1 or 2 party mobs n debuffs and you can kill anyone nearly.

Noone can run from a party giant + debuffed + panic. It's fun!
And the stuns make it easier.

Hmm I know the first force debuff doesn't give you purple/pink status or whatever, so do the later ones do? if not that would be awesome for killing anyone. Just spam those away until they die.
