Maybe amongst your group of friends that may be true, but nationally that's anything from the truth, which is why you see Marth at a much higher tier than Roy.
Probably, most of my friends are Roy hardcore fan >.<
I like Marth and Pitt a lot, but currently I like Lucario. Forcing my friends off the screen with the Final Smash and listening to them curse is the best part <3 .
McCain, he (Barack Obama) said, will soon "be accusing me of being a secret communist because I shared my toys in kindergarten."

I know I'm going to get a lot of criticism for saying this but I HATE final smash balls. It's not because I get killed by them it's actually the opposite since I usually end up getting the smash ball but because it really dumbs down a match. When the smash ball comes it's basically everyone rushes to it although I like to attack people when they're trying to get the smash ball and in some matches it just feels lame when the only way you and your opponents are killing is just with final smashes instead of strategy where you set up a KO. In fact a match feels real incomplete when you manage to 2-3 stock your opponent through final smashes.

Just a little thing I believe about final smashes, its just for fun , not playing competitively

I was talking about it from a fun aspect more than a competition aspect especially since it's already assumed items are taken out of competition because it throws in a luck factor that can override skill. What I mean is true they are fun for the first few games but after a while I find it more fun when I manage to get KOs through a successful edge guard (esp when getting people w/ toon links Down A while they're grabbing the side of the arena) or a successful combo rather than one which requires me to press B at the right time which doesn't have as much fulfillment when it comes to fun.
Manowar wrote:Toon Link because I like his projectile play style, his moves are fast, have a bit of range and good priority, and he has a nice amount of combo moves (<3 the Bair). Not to mention he's already got some cool moves like the RAR, SHDA and his Dair is nice for spiking with practice.

Also play Link, Wolf, Bowser, Ike.
what are the moves for the combos thanks
Mostly Bair. You can use Utilt and Dsmash (in some cases) as well to start up combos and Fair, Uair, and Dair to finish them although Dair is a bit tricky to use since if you miss, you die because the move automatically fast falls you. I also use boomerang + bow (SHDA are nice for spacing) to combo as well and also to add in damage. Also for Fair, I suggest not using that move except if it's for the purpose of KOing a player to ensure you have the maximum KO power possible.
In short TL has an amazing air game and also an amazing edge guard game because of how high he can jump so you should be learning how to master those aspects.
1 on 1 Wi-Fi Matches are a piece of cake. 4 way free for all is just as easy but occasionally someone kills me with items but oh well they're a part of the game, and real-men use items

I couldn't agree more.
Oh and Marth FTW. Once you've mastered his tip of the sword style nothing can stop you.
Decided to bump this up because I recently got a second main for 2v2 play. Was trying out some characters in 2v2's with some friends, one of which has recently picked up playing Ice Climbers, and I'm now really liking Pit in 2v2. The reason I like Pit is Pit is an overall solid character that can stay alive very well because of his broken flying + up B ability not to mention his nice amount of air moves and fast attacks. This extreme tip video I found useful:
Hosting a brawl tournament is much more complicated than you might think, especially if it's over wifi since it's much harder to communicate the next matches. Also figure if it's 3 stock, 7 minute time limit matches, and best 2 out of 3 that these matches will take probably 6-15 minutes to complete each. Factor in a double elimination and if it's 8 man or 16 man it will take a few hours to get through most of the matches and you also got the people who will leave the tournament during the down time. Then there's the most obvious problem with a wifi tournament which would be any possible lag that comes up as well as any other communication issues. If you're planning any type of tournament at all you should use tio tournament organizer which is an amazing program for this kind of stuff.
