SilkroadOnline.

It isn't the same old game as we all know, at present. It has become a place where if u dont pawn, then you die. People say don't bot be legit, I do ask.. will it be fun Playing Legit ? People getting to the cap in dozens. you can not pvp you can not job, if u are low lvl and do a trade, you wont conmplete it what so Farking ever are the consequences unless u have 10 90x supporting u. High lvl thieves robbing noob trades make then tend to not do the trade next time at all. All there is left, is being 85+ and pvping with another 85+ and seeing whos the god.
I went to pvp, alright .. hoping ill find someone my lvl there so i could have some "fun", Surpisingly i found someone, in the middle of the fight, a fkin 80+ wizards nukes all the noobs around there, after that its all know fact, keep doing it over and over until theres no one there, or its only just a place with all 85+ pvping and all low lvls just sitting in safe zone watching like a ..... ******( i felt like one).

If you arent high lvl you wont get respect, i mean wtf, crap if u are even 7x u are still considered a noob, "lol noob" is all u get to hear.

Consequences, the noobs sitting in safe zone want to get higher coz everybody Farking around them is 90. result > bot. (i dont support botting, sadly what i say is true)

And im talking about the 5 noobs watching 50 high lvls pvping (Just a metaphor).

I For one believe that its become a shithole, Im so near to quiting it because its not fun anymore.

People say, join venus.. HOW can a 3.5k capacity server contain all the legit wannabes, it will be crowded sooner or later.

I aint whining here, im just sick right now, and pissed off because of the fact that everybody is botting around me getting to 90 and then calling me a noob in a very small period of time, you feel like a slut when 13 people gangrape you and also, after that they feel godly on killing a 2x lvls character lower then them.

Don't worry about pvping with those high levels, just go elsewhere when that happens because in this game you can pvp anywhere. There's at least 20 lower leveled people for every lvl 85+ in existence.

As for trading, you win some and you lose some. It takes 8 high level thieves to effectively shut down all trades above lvl 40 on a server. Just be super sneaky and hope you don't get caught.

However, if you find yourself no longer enjoying this game, then quit.

so what exactly is holding you back from quitting? I basically had the same mindset as you, looking at this game(at the 80cap) seeing how much it's changed over time and how it wasn't fun at all anymore, just full of idiots. So I just quit, started playing WoW and honestly don't regret quitting at all.

Hehe, try playing on my server where one union litterly controls where you can, and cant grind, and will do their best every second to break apart any lvl5 guild that could be even remotly threating to them :banghead:

Sad but true. Im 80 lvl and I get pwned all the time cuz there is just to many lvl 90 already. And mostly noobs. Even when you find someone around your lvl and start pvp there is some jerk that come and atack you bouth, just to show off.

If people were legit and the bots banned, then only the few elites would be capped and fully farmed at 90. There would be no bot p-farming at the ongs. No bot plvling at the ice. No bots with their own goldbots to buy their +9 weapons and pimped gears. Elixers, stones, tablets, elements... they would all be worth a lot more than what they are now meaning not every average Joe would be able to afford (let alone find the elixers for) a +5 set. +3s would be good; 5s awesome and 7s godly. Suns would actually be rare. GAMEPLAY WOULD BE FUN, FAIR, and EVERYONE WOULD BE UNIQUE.

So yeah, being legit is important and would make the game loads more fun. Something bots fail to see which in return ruins the game. All they see is $$$ and their damage from their capped skills go up and up. But for what, so they can pvp for 15 minutes a day and get owned by Avalon? (shamless plug

Dont knock it 'till you tried it. If it wasnt as good as people from Venus say it is, then the people who left all the other servers to join would have went back already.

See my sig, Irrational is on Venus in PE and i often log on him. I have seen the situation there, still its gonna be crowded sooner or later.

It was so nice when you got to a new level and ran around in stalls looking for a +3 weapon because it was so shiny.
And when you saw +7 and +5 ... :shock:

At least up to ~48. After that people seemed to get +5s ^_^
But now... if it isn't +5 its shit. :banghead:

Actually Spanktastik, prices dont raise when bots are banned,
less goldbots>less gold is getting into botgoldstorage>makes the goldsite raising their price on gold>less people buy gold>less gold gets into cycle> people wont buy overpriced stuff>forces seller to cut their prices to be able to earn money.

If all bots would be banned, prices would do a upsidedown skyrocket.

i think CTF should be mandatory from now on, it's the only thing i can see for low levels to compete against each other without getting owned by a sosun 76+9 weapon in cape

i actually have a low level fully farmed lvl 32 archer with full sos and weapon. the low level players actually know what they're doing most of the time which surprised me at first

You could say go to Venus, but even there you'd get abused by higher levels. If you're lv80 and some lv50 runs past you in opposite job, would you let them? Most people would kill them.

Even higher level legits in pvp kill lower levels, it's just annoying. However, Venus is still ones best bet.

One big rant listening family hehe..

Me and my hubby quit SRO two months ago..For the same reasons, botters, politics etc. For us it was no longer fun as many have stated here. It sounds like you are really peeved at the game, and thats what games are for enjoyment. If you are not getting that enjoyment anymore then yep maybe it's time to say goodbye to SRO.

There is life after SRO and many other games out there

Hubby and I are playing another game now, but I always said I'd still come back here to say hi to all the lovely people and catch up.

If you leave SRO doesn't mean you can't come back to the forum and say hi or catch up

Good luck and hope you feel happier whatever choice you make..

Yeah SRO has gone downhill. Mostly I blame idiots and JM for not doing their job patrolling and just sitting there opening more servers so the cycle can repeat.

Banning Gold-bots simply returns the game to a more balanced state. A reduced number of rare items means prices goes up. However, if the bots are continued to be banned, ppl will realize that selling their sun for 2 bil is pointless as no one has that kind of money anymore. So prices go back down about 2-6 months later. Eventually prices are returned to reasonable values. Just look at other SRO that have little to no bots. SOS 9d cost about 100mil and Sosun 8d about 200 i think. I'm quoting this from kSRO awhile back.

Umm, look guys. Joymax as we all know it this past year has been lazy, providing us with mediocre service to the game. The maintainance is horrible, bots ruled, it takes an hour to log in, and premium was a must.

Now, gold bots are getting banned, and it's easy to log on even through the old servers. This is amazing, I mean, for all this time we see KSing bots, we finally have a chance to actually log in and play.

After all, THIS IS A FREE TO PLAY GAME. You shouldn't expect this game to be heaven and perfect. Of course theres always going to be player bots because even though this is not proven, it's apparent they don't ban player bots who buy silk.

HOW ELSE does JM make money? W/o gold bots = less gold. Less gold = higher prices to sell gold. Higher prices = less buyers buying gold. Less buyers buying gold = less gold in the game. Less gold in the game = consumers not buying anything. Not buying anything = crash in gold market.

Crash in gold market = more silkbuyers. Silk buyers = Joymax $$$.

So, if you're complaining that all it doesby banning gold bots is 'balancing the game out' , don't expect them to clean it up even more. That's all they have to do, give players the F2P experience by leting them log in and grind with REAL players, nothing more nothing less. Anything more is just kudos to JM.
