the only cod's that are like that are cod1 and uo and thats only cause its a expansion.
Barring CoD4 and 1[being the original >.>] it's the same thing over and over again until 4. 2, 3, and FH looked pretty much the same as 1, although I don't own BR1 I doubt it's very different. I can only win the most overused war with basically the same weapons so many times before I get bored.
so what did you want from D3...its basically the same premise with all new skills, storyline, classes, and features.....did you want them to turn it into an mmo or did you want a 2D side scroller....help me out here cause i really don't see what you expected
though TBH i am disappointed that they opted for a more cartoony style of graphics over sharper, more detailed ones....i like even though the old game looked ugly by todays standards all the creatures looks very nice and so did the gear...you don't get the same effect with this cartoony look, i hope they change it back

Just watching those videos I can tell D3 is gonna kick ass. Especially if they make the multiplayer co-op better. Hopefully we don't have to wait years before it's finally out.

They made it like that so it would be playable on a "wide-range of system", More people able to play = More money.

im only talking bout pc version of cod, have no idea about the console versions.

the whole gameplay is different in each one.
let alone the fact that the missions are different in everygame, and u cant even compare cod1-2 to cod4.
Well just thank Blizzard for at least making the art in D3 appropriate vs the level of cartoony-ness you can find in WoW. D2 is still more gritty and realistic, but D3 does pretty good in that department while keeping some of the style. It could be a lot worse visual-wise lol.
lol, funny how ppl expected d3 to be like wow. what'd they expect? it's diablo for gods sake, a hack n slash fest wit cool skills and fast paced pvp. i loved the previews, it can only get better. can't wait for the new story as well, blizzard stories are pimp.
