iTouch

Hey guys,
I'm thinking about buying an iTouch soon with my first big summer paycheck, since my Video is getting a tiny bit old. I just wanted to ask if anybody's heard any news about a 2nd generation Touch coming out anytime soon. I don't want to buy a 32G one for 500$ and then see on the site a day later that the 2nd generation is coming out with 80GB for 300$. That's what happened to me when I bought my Mini. I bought it and then literally the next day, they announced that the Nano was coming out.

Anybody have any a clue on how long it'll be?
I mean, if the Phone is coming out, I don't think it'll be long, since they're relatively the same (just minus the phone).

A 2g itouch has not been announced... but I DOUBT one isn't, as it runs on the same software as the iphone... I'd wait. My guess is it'll come out 1.5 months after iphone.

I have the itouch 32gig. Its awesome, and frankly I can't fill up the entire 32gig. I don't know why they need those one with 300+gigs, coz the more you put stuff in, more problem. The classic generation with huge capacity encounter so much problem. If you want to store stuff, do it on your PC.

Anyway, if i were ipod I would release the next ipod before Xmas, and the one would be either 48 but more like a 64gig. Hell I can barely used up 32, but anyway, its up to you

A person i work with got a iTouch, and their pretty sick i must admit. but i am going to wait for the newer one just in case

I have the 8GB version.

There won't be a 2G/3G version or whatever of the Itouch. The only new thing is gonna be a new firmware version. Version 2.0.
