Installing SRO

Post by DrWicked »

My friend has a problem installing sro and this is what he said : i downloaded the latest version of SRO but when i got to install it i couldnt do it, because appeared a box saying that the download i've made was only availlable after the Legend3 update.
Thanks for the help.

keep retrying.
what i used to do was when the grey loading or whatever box came up, i used to just hover over it over and over til the installer opened lol. It worked for some reason. You could also try opening silkroadonline.net in the background and the opening the installer. Both of these methods worked for me, probably purely by coincidence.

i had the same problem. The reason was my firewall ( comodo firewall ). I turned the firewall off, closed the comodo program, and restarted my computer. when it was booted again, i didn't had the box sayin' the client can only be used after legend 3 updated. Than install and just turn your firewall ( if installed ) on. Check also the windows firewall out. good luck

Turning the firewall off fixes this problem as stated above (don't need to restart though). Same thing happened to a friend of mine too.
