*Thinks Bojjang and Sky might be high* No offense.

Bots = money.
Goldbot banning = pleasing the common village idiot, slow income for about 3 days max.

If I were Joymax and was getting money from botters the way they are now, I sure as hell wouldn't ban them >_>..

Greed ftl?

Silkroad isn't gonna die from bots and shit, it's not gonna die until some better games comes along, otherwise theres always gonna be ppl playin it, botting or not.

As long as they pay money, sro is alive and well.

To people who previously said they belive Joymax is rushing to complete the game with all legends, then service the game ^

As much as id like that to be true...ill take any chance at them getting serious, it's not possible, The games reputation will be so stained it wont even have one anymore.

you go around to gaming forums and ask what they think and they ALL seem to haver an opinion about how shit it is, then they pass it on to there friends, people read what they have to say about it and stay clear...word of mouth about how bot infested, every single problem with sro at the moment.

5 Years down the track when sro is supposedly complete and they do actualy start servicing the game, Nobody will even want to try it, the graphics will be so outdated compared to the market of free MMO's in 5 years...its current rep among the online community will be silkroads death in that senario.

although i do wish it best of luck..since i <3 this game.

I think the updates will go normaly. But in 5 years the technology will be huge. So my guess is..
*you will able to use ''WASD''.
*Big graphic changes.
*Chanice may disapear.
*Bugs will be more handle. Like WoW.
*More security.
*Better hosts
*And ..more player limiteds.

Actually wow has low end graphics to accommodate for people who have low quality computers.

IMO mmorpg comes and goes... sooner or later this game will be abandoned or left with very few players, by that time it'll mostly be bots. Plus I don't think this game will last that long.. once they reach their final gap because no more area to add in (since they gonna be using up all the areas mentioned in the SR). Unless they want to retardedly* create some area then taht's different story lol.

I don't think graphics are a big deal, I mean ppl still play ragnarok and runescape >.>..

Sro graphics arent bad anyway, they look pretty good, and the skills and stuff is nice.

I wouldn't consider graphics having anything to do with it dieing, until its becomes like what NES is today in the future or sumthin >.> lol.

SRO will be alive as long as people/botters keep playing it, and as far as Joymax sees it now, it couldnt be more alive cause servers are crowded 24/7 lol

Only once ive seen an example of an MMO dying because only very few people were playing it

I would welcome a turkish version, just because I never see insults like"go fuck your mother" or "10k please" I usually see "Fack you mather betch" or "10k plys". And quite a few bots have a guild with Turk in the name. Just annoying... I speak 2 languages English, and bad English. But WtF is that? ^

Yup, I could really do without the turk union on Xian lol, and the random pm's asking for stuff and trading, and frustration from trying to talk to one, and the stupid insults lol.

I havn't been in that version in a while, but last time I checked they are similiar to our premium. The difference I think is that the gold ticket gives only gives instant access while the purple gives stats kinda like our RED, premium plus ticket but no instant access into crowded servers.

If players quit because of server traffic gold bot companies will make no money. Which means they will quit and that means sro will die.

lets hope that never happens :D

Actually if people quit because of server traffic, than server traffic will ease up and it will stop other people from quitting.

People who buy gold are ussually willing to spend money on bots and a premium too, they're addicted to this game. Its the "weekend warriors" or the part time players who will leave and make it easier for the other players.

For your information, joymax have begin to creat a new game, they have previou the coming out in 2010. And for this game they gonna ban bot.

Weirdo wrote:I was thinking what would silkroad be like in 5 years?

I think there can be 2 things that would happen:

1. Silkroad is infected by bots and goldbots in 3 years every legit on all servers left (except Venus) and JM is making tons of money, the fourth year everyone stops because there are only bots and no one will buy silk anymore. JM closes silkroad because the low income.

2. Silkroad=Heaven. JM sold silkroad to Blizzard (or another "good" companie) and all bots got an immediate ban in the next 3 weeks. Legits are all over the place and no server traffic.
Silkroad is better then WoW, GW or any other mmorpg ever and everyone is happy (except JM muhahahaha  ).

But probably it's somewhere in between those two options.

What do you guys think will happen to silkroad?

Ok i couldnt be bothered reading page 2 coz it was to much....

Ok in my view.

Lets say you work on a game your really proud of. It has bugs and it has goldbotters, and you are trying your best to ban them all, working hard everyday. And everyday you go on your forum, that of course u spent month working on so it will look and be perfect, all you see is complaining costumers, FIX this FIX that. F you Joymax took my money etc. Wouldnt that bring you down a bit? You bassicly work your butt of for the game and all you get is insults over insults. You try to improve but everytime you fail, you get flamed at.

I totally understand joymax situation, i would not have the confidence to work on a game that when i do an update and try my best on it, i only get flamed. I provide this free game. I try to expand the server number. I give you more server so you can play on them, and of course I PAY for them.

So in my eyes, if joymax would not get flamed so much, there "work ethic" and there confidence to fix the game would go up.

I bet you wouldnt like it if you work on a school project the whole weekend, devoting ALL your time to the project, and on monday when u present it you get a "F" for the project. Brings your confidence down doesnt it?

That is my opinion on joymax.
And if it keeps up with flaming, the game will eventually shut down...
