Alps woot help me out, waste of masterys

Ok i started a new chara in alps pure str fire glave with light sub for grass walk, but see im putting in alot off sp in this and talking up my mastery for what 1 louwsey skill what else can i get in light for pure str, point it out for me.

hw much dmg do pure str glaives on average do for a level 25ish? i cant see them doing much damage, the phys dmg is so low compared to mag dmg :/

Usually you get grasswalk, the must-piercing (adds magic% dmg), and any of the parry ratio skills (concentration + passive). Shock lion shout is not for dealing any real dmg, but it's good for aggoring any mob to come to you. You could just put 1 point into that so you have a sem-ranged attack.
