Yeah i saw the post. I've already chosen the comp i want.

No changes except for the gfx card. I'm going for a 8800 GT. The gtx isn't worth the extra money according to a LOT of people.
Going for a higher end processor tho. Rest i will stick with

Oh ok then, I've no problems with the 8800gt goes through all the games I have like butter(or in this case game code)

I will be looking to get a new case, processor and mobo for myself during the summer if I can get a job... ocuk ftw if I can get enough money

Hmm.. you sure you want to go for an AMD?

Go onto any tech site and they would tell you to go with intel, AMD cpu's are using old tech with no real improvement. I have an AMD 5000+ atm but if i was to upgrade I would go with an intel core2duo for sure even if I have to get a new mobo.

The performance is significantly better on an intel processor, playing games, using programs like photoshop for example would all be faster on a core2duo compared with an AMD dual core like the 6400+.

Intel>AMD atm. But i've always had AMD processors and i love them. Never had any problems with them what so ever.

Thing is, i can get that set of hardware together quite cheap. I could go with an intel mobo and intel cpu but that would cost me more money and that build is a little over what i want to spend already. That's why im sticking with it

In the intro area I most killing everything with one hit from my nuke except the apes.

Better than average. The only thing that's lacking imo are the color options. You can choose from 5 skin colors and ~7 eye colors. Not enough, a color slider would've been nice.

The only problem is, the processor i want is currently out of stock so i'm guessing i'm going to have to wait a week or so before i get that.

Oooo nice, well I just pre-ordered the game off play.com since I heard that europe is getting 6 days of pre-play when pre-ordering since its now starting 17th same day as U.S with no level cap!

Which is great and pushed me over the edge to pre-order. Supposedly keys wont be given out from play.com until the 15th but 2 days should be enough to download the client anyway so it isn't so bad

Comp is all done except for my processor + heatsink and fan.
Didn't take long to build it and no problems encountered.

Processor will be delivered next monday and AoC Head-start launches the week after. Perfect timing I can even stil play the beta for a while , haha.

Closed? Closed is well over we're playing open beta atm

They have said the servers are going down on the 11th until the 17th when the pre-play starts.

The lvl20 buff with pvp galore starts tomorrow until the 11th and now they're saying that the char only needs to be lvl2 to apply which is nice cause you can try all the locations and char types easily if you want which is great

Closed beta is still going as of now. (Or at least till a week ago). They overlapped.

I got myself a beta key the other day for the Closed Beta but i can't play. Not really been browsing the AoC forums this week so i'm a bit outdated

It only works when both chars are both online. The timezone distance between us also doesn't help. I have no plans tomorrow, so except for an emergency I should be online most of the day. Def the best time to test the waters of the game. Hope they don't make us endure stalling during pvp.
If Twysta's ok with it he should send his vent info our way. Hard to keep organized via forum or ingame chat.

About vent, i think i'll be hosting my own vent on my old comp next week once my processor is built in and i got it all running.

Working in the garden the rest of the upcoming days so i won't be on much.

Where do u guys live? Whats your timezone?

I'll PM you tommorow with an IP to a CS:S Community vent where we're usually on. I can't access my old comp atm, it's stripped.
