It would pretty much become a race war. Relations with Asian countries (ie China) aren't so hot right now, and in the middle of a WWIII, China would have very few (probably none at all) allies to fall back against. Compare that to the US or maybe even Russia who both have a shitload of countries indebted/dependent on them or just plain good friends to team up with. The US would win by a long shot.

If america truly was trying its hardest, it could just flatten both countries and the rest of the free world wouldnt be able to do much but complain. There IS progress in afghanistan, its simply being overshadowed by the retards in iraq. We ARE doing the best we can, how do you think china or russia would fare in america's shoes right now? If you want the military statistics look them up online aside from the amount of technology, not the variations because China is buying everything we produce and they have been ever since WWII, if you don't believe that and still think they use soviet crap look that up too. If you've been watching the News the UN and American forces have been forced into retreat by an increase in Taliban forces in Afghanistan, we are not making progress if anything the War in Iraq is taking attention off our failure in Afghanistan as its hardly mentioned anymore. Also i love how you completely removed the human element from the Chinese military and figured china would treat its soldiers like America treats its soldiers, the old send in wave after wave after wave method. Its in different variations but its basically what we did in Vietnam and what we're doing in Iraq and it isn't working so i don't think china would make our mistake.

As for how i think china would handle this situation, the nation that ruthlessly slaughter a country of Tibetan monks. I think If China was in charge Iraq would be under complete control by now same goes for Afghanistan the Chinese won't pu**y-foot around what needs to be done and they won't rush in without assessing 2 errors we keep making. Our military is so bogged down in democratic bureaucracy that hardly anything get done and by the time it reaches the troops on the field its out of date and they need new info. A more ridged Gov't Structure like the Chinese wouldn't have to be bothered with these things they could go in do what needs to be done.

BTW if all that advanced technology we have the remove men from the field is so great why are we losing so many troops. You can't remove the human element from war it revolves around humans. You build your entire criticism of the United States military around the fact that the Iraq War has degenerated and hacked away at American military might. Would you be saying the same thing if Bush hadn't been reelected and it was peacetime now?
