I guess it depends on your lifestyle. I earn a decent income, but I have a huge commute to work, a mortgage, all my utility bills, and all the expenses that go with having two children. In the end, I spend almost exactly the amount I earn per month.

So, no silk for me... Perhaps if I stop eating, but then I can't enjoy my silk if I'm dead.
