Thread Author able to lock ?

Dunno, was wondering if you could add / enable an option for the author of a thread to lock his own thread if it gets out of hand. Would save a lot of middlemen ( Read: Mods ) the time and trouble of doing it themselves.

I have no problem with it (and it does sound decent), but I will bet money if it's implemented it will be abused by someone.

sounds like a nice idea, i'll let the others know about this.
i think for something like it, we will have to try get in touch
with the man ryoko for some nice code works
