You mean the chat button at the top of the forums?

chat.php

Make sure you follow the instructions at the bottom of the page.
Any IRC client may connect as well instead of using the Java(tm) crapplet. Same instructions still apply.

Ghan,

We were going through the process of setting it up for the Users, (Currently only Staff Has Access AFAIK).

Just sorting out some perquisites to use Chat, but then we encountered a problem if i remember correctly.

So, it's not yet ready for the User base, but i do think we should have it on. So i guess we will put effort into that again.

Hm. What servers would you use? I used to aop a chat room...it's still out there somewhere, don't remember the provider. #prok was the name.

Undernet, EFnet, DALnet, etc which one would you guys use? The other thing is anything that allows DCC's usually means pirated files get transferred around...which isn't a good thing.

let's just bring back the chat (u can see the tab at top of the page) instead of having an irc channel

If the chat itself is IRC, you need to choose. If it's just a Java app, then it's much less of a problem.
