RANT: Inappropriate Sigs and Avatars

Here in SRF we have a very nice community with an eclectic selection of members. That is why it's such a great place to be. Not really. I see the forum's staff working hard everyday to smite rule breakers and such. I remember one day I mentioned some quite rated R material in a post and I received a warning for it. Yes, the mods are doing their job and that is great! When we live and interact in an environment were all ages take part of, then we must abide by the set given rules in order to make everyone feel accepted and relaxed. For the most part most members of this wonderful place fulfill that observed requisite.
We strike down on bots, hackers and spammers. All these actions are bad therefore the staff snipes any carrier of these activities when they lurk into the snatch zone. ie. When they break the rules by posting and doing things that they are not supposed to by violating the laws that the administrators have created. Yet I still come into these forums and notice one thing that apparently is invisible to the eyes of the staff. I see members who for their own sake choose to have unsuitable material and media in their signature and avatar coding fields.
I have no problem with that, but it is growing into a problem. When I'm reading about the latest fortress war and who won it I don't want my parents to lurk behind me and ask why are there two lesbians making out on top of a beer barrel on my screen. Or why is there a set of cleavage shaking up and down. Grow up you may say, well of course we see these things everyday on TV and in the streets as everyday things. Are they really moral? Do we want to be a community that strives to be ignorant of the many immoralities that are blind to men? Blasphemy!
Sure get Mozilla Firefox and use ad blocker. I want to tell you that that is exactly what I did. But isn't it sad that we have to go extra measures to control a consent community were by moral standards we shouldn't have to get extra software to stay away from the things that should be kept to whoever decided to be a tool and be photographed to be displayed on various internet sites by no ones that want to attract attention because they have the e-balls to do it?
Simple and condense, whip those who have inappropriate content in their signatures and avatars because we must understand that this is a public environment and not everyone wants to see what you want to see. The definition of inappropriate will be stretched for the rant, so don't say that you don't see any nudity or explicit sexual content therefore everything is okay and I should just be ignored.
Thank you.
