remove friend/foe option

so if you put someone on your foe list, you can't see what they posted? I think that users here have at least ounce of credibility we dont need spam boxes for specific people. If you can't see their posts how are you gonna communicate when people start making foes and you can't see their posts and can't understand the discussion, etc. Plus it helps foster negative feelings.

its kindof what i said when i first heard about the option.
but well, phbb3.0 has it, and it's always good to try something out before
throwing it into the trash bucket i guess.
will talk this over with the team.

It's only people that YOU set as an enemy that wont be visible. If you still want to read their message, I believe when they post, there's probably a way to make it show.

The friend/foe option is rather dumb indeed. I always end up clicking "Display post" anyways.

I don't see why you just can't leave it in. If people don't like it they won't use it. I did not even know about it until it was mentioned here. The feature is almost completely invisible unless you know it exists. It really is just an extended ignore user function.

I completely agree with you. You should leave it on for whoever wants to use it. If some other people think it's bad, then don't use it

LOL I <3 it. 75% of the threads I read have:
This post was made by XXXXXXXX who is currently on your ignore list. Display this post.
In them. No need to react too annoying idiots anymore. : >

You cannot add administrators and moderators to your foes list. sigh
It doesn't work on mods.. kinda discriminating

Is there an option to turn off colored fonts? lol

It's because no matter how angry you may be at a Mod's decision, you know that deep down you really wub him and could never block him.

Could always chop up the template so it displays nothing from foe posts. Then the tempation, and option, isnt there.
