adding debate forum?

adding a debate forum would be so cool, were we can debate about stuff all we want so we dont ruin other forums by overflaming

Why not just not hijack someone else's thread, or hijack another Forum, and just make a separate topic debating what you wish to debate in the OTL?

Im not a fan of debates.
Most debates I've seen as an admin turn into flame and people leaving the board.
Prolly the worst one I saw was over the war in Iraq. I think 2 people posted "goodbye" threads over that one. Anyone who voted for bush got flamed to hell and anyone who supported our troops got pissed off
And just not gonna do it again.

Most people would end up simply posting a "I'm right and your wrong" reply, and never backing up their opinion with reasoning/facts/etc.
