A Shop

Ever think about the thing where you have a shop and you get X amount of x[the type of currency you would like], its similar to a shop. And after you get eoung you can add titles to you name like 1337 |-|4x0|2z. and more things you can think of.. eh? Sorry if this has already been brought up

you mean like member titles, when you get to a certain amount of posts it upgrades your title, and after a certain point you can use a custom one?
yes it would be nice, but imagine some of the sillyness some people would use it for

Well, I'm against any type of classifying users.
A high post count don't mean anything and some people forget that.
A user with a low post count but with informative posts is a lot better than a post-spammer.

I used to visit this particular forum where you would get a customized title once you reached 22,000 points. 1 post = 1 point, 1 vote = 1/4 point, browsing = 10pts/day, referring someone = 50pts, linking from your website = 50pts, etc.
It was rather interesting, and made for a neat long-term goal.
