Screenshot Pruning

I can't be more pleased how well people have taken a liking to the screenshot pages!
We now have about 120 screenshots submitted, and over 1200 votes.
I think I want to code an automatic 'pruning' system to keep the space used and database size reasonable.
I was thinking, when the cap limit is hit (100?) it will prune 20 screenshots - at least 15 days old or more, by rating in ascending order.
I think this would be the most fair, unbiased and unpersonal way of keeping clean, and keeping the best shots.
Thoughts?

how does the voting work anyway?
i was the first person to vote on a particular pic and gave it a 10 and it only generated a 7.5 :\
but yeh, there needs to be a way to get the poorly rated shots out and keep the high ranked ones
just a sujestion aswel but a way to rank them per score?

also, is there a way i haven't discovered of viewing the ratings on a shot other than the randomly-generated ones on the forum home?

click on the random one and they all appear
you cant see the rating until you rate them yourself

Yeah, thats not a bad idea. I would just have to add a field to the database table, and create a submission form instead of a box.

Because each shot gets an automatic initial vote of 5. This helps keeping the first initial votes of a 10 or a 1 from determining the fate of a screenshot (downvoting) So what your seeing is (5+10)/2 from the start.[/quote]
