SRF country club

I want a little country club on SRF for us old users to hang around in, and not have to put up with all the bs of all the newer shit talking people.
Other people who don't meet the registration date requirement could be invited in, and if approved by other members accepted.
Anyone could be kicked out by the others so screwing around and flaming there wouldn't be a problem.
I'm jsut tired of reading flames and BS by 10 post count members who just register to start shit, or me or others typing up shit and no one gives a damn in the end.

We have that on the other site.
But they use post count and reputation points to determine who is invited.
The real downside is, all the 'forum favorites' start posting only in there mostly, and the rest of the forums start to suffer.

A downside about it is that there are some users who post: +1 with no additional info at all, only to get to the 'elite/vet' user status. So yes that acceptation part is needed.

I like the idea, but as already said before that would lead that those people would, at least partly stop posting in other forums.

Instead of posts vote people in? or nominate them?
I can see what Ryoko meant though about the site suffering cause they stop posting in main areas. Hmm....

After 2k or w/e posts, that person can put thier own admin aproved rank?
I've seen it at other forums.

if you go through with this ryoko, do not do it by post count.
it would be better to go by forum reputation, contribution and nomination.
post count is just too easy to make
