Silkroad Online Forums

There is now some extra space on the top right, across from 'Latest News and Announcements'

I have three ideas so far for this space.

1. Promote silkroad with a cute download icon and 'Get Started With Silkroad Online' etc.

2. A thumbnail of random screenshots of the game that people can click and view. Discuss exact details later though.

3. A note about reading announcements and news before posting and asking questions.

All three worth considering.

Your thoughts are apreciated.

Option 1: Id assume the majority of people coming to the forum already have the game otherwise they wouldnt know about us in the first place.

Option 2: Yeh cool

Option 3: As helpful as it may be it could also be acomplished with a sticky in every forum. Most people probably wouldnt read it anyway.

hmm actauly i think we do have links in other games to this site to promote this site and the game. so some ppl come to this site might not know of this game.

Option 1 - No Blain is correct, I have backlinks on other gaming sites for WC3 and WOW, and other forums. By promoting Silkroad, we promote ourselves.

3. On our other forum, no one ever reads the FAQ, Sticky thread, and rules. Literally. Here is some stats you might find funny:

Any other thoughts? Perhaps I will make a poll.

But that notpron post could be those 3,476 reading the thread 4.781 times
Or people that view it without posting.
A link given to someone to help sort an issue they are having that needs a walkthrough.

There are any number of limitations however i do see where youre coming from.

ya, choice 2 is th best option..... but which random pictures will they be?
the pictures of our characters or the same stuff there is on the main site(or similar)?? would we be able to post our pictures?
