Thanks.
The whole top text is SEO stuff. Yeah it kinda lame, repetitive. But needs to be there.
Google score > lameness
You see.
Works a LITTLE better in Firefox. Still some known issues, as below.
RYOKO: I want the table cell to be THIS wide.
IE: Okay!
FIREFOX: (sneers) noooo cuz might not fit
RYOKO: Text needs to be this big to fit in tabs
IE: Okay!
FIREFOX: (sneers) nooooo cuz user might not like it
RYOKO: The cells need to be THIS high to line up
IE: Okay!
FIREFOX: (sneers) noooo cuz my user has bigger text
RYOKO: I made small mistake in html
IE: NP! I know what you meant, and what I should do
FIREFOX: OMFG THE PAGE IS .....
RYOKO: RESIZE WINDOW
IE: OKAY!
FIREFOX: LETS SCREW UP THE LEFT NAVIGATION BAR AND LEAVE A HUGE HUGE GAP!
Damn, I HATE Firefox.
.....You see.

Nothing too major. But the "Silkroad Online Forums" text at the top is too much like that trunk color. But that's just my opinion.
I am a web dev and I know what you mean by working with Firefox. IE makes developing simple because Microsoft is forgiving of the inexperienced internet community. Firefox was coded to bridge across Windows, Linux, and Macintosh, therefore, the html and css compiler had to be standardized. Web Devs have to write clean code for Firefox to work.

Correct coding I can handle.
What makes me maddest is Firefox's 'user' approach.
Like I said. Text size and cell width need to be THIS NUMBER to make the tabs fit and work.
Whiney ass firefox allows anyone to change text size and IGNORES cell widths 'for the user'
Makes it almost impossible to do what you want.
Thats why SO MANY sites switching to Flash. Flash does what you want it to do.

LoL! I guess this goes to show how much I don't play with the software I use.
I totally didn't know about this "User-Based" approach. I thought Firefox was just another browser. (Only without the spyware approach)
What the hell is Mozilla thinking!? Browser compilers should be developed for the Developers, not the users! Gah!

I like flash, but it just isn't good for low-bandwidth.
Thanks, my love for Firefox has just added a hatred toward this "User" crap.

No they don't believe that - they believe the browser should be about the USER
Which is... fine in a way.
But makes things very hard, and fustrating sometimes. Like, fitting simple text into a simple box
I can deal without all the dynamic expressions and cool things IE does, but geez man...

I use firefox for everything except the forums.
I can never seem to log in properly with firefox. Makes me wonder why I even have it...

Their view should match Safari's view then. Safari (Mac OS) is the only browser to properly render the Acid2 test. For the layman:
Browsers should all render just as well as Safari.
IMO, browsers should fully reflect and support the image from the mind of the creator. WebMastering is an art form, and all forms of it should be supported everywhere!
Anyway, I should probably finish ranting, thanks for listening and providing input to a crazy person's fantasy.
(For those interested in the Acid2 test

I don't really like the top right background image, girl and text colour.
I didn't really like every image I tried. It also doesn't repeat - so its longer, and larger file size.
Its 'okay' for now, but definetly looking to improve that half.

Is there a better way to show the 'messages' tab?
Right now it does not reflect how many messages you have in your inbox.
If i didnt get notified I probably would never check.

Let me clue you Firefreaks in. Flashpeak Slimbrowser does tabs better, blocks pop-ups, pop-unders AND POP-INS, and blocks more spyware than Mozilla. It's true. I pulled 0 critical items for weeks using Slimbrowser; had to install Mozilla to view a certain site, used it for a little while, and the next scan all of the sudden I had spyware. Not much, but more than 0.

yes but see, that's why i use firefox... that one little sentence said it all:
"had to install Mozilla to view a certain site"
the only reason i use firefox instead of some of a few other browsers(there are more secure ones, that is for sure) is because it supports everything i need, so i don't have to worry about a page displaying incorrectly, or not at all.
oh, and ANYTHING is better than IE.... of course
