I want us to be able to post status updates on our profiles, like what I have done today. Like "rough day at work ehh" etc. I would also like that other users should be able to comment on each others updates. Also a thumbs up and down button would be nice so we can express what we feel about each others updates without having to write anything. A way for us to share photos and videos, I've tried upload my personal photos on Screenshot Gallery but I have no idea if they got accepted or not, please remember to give us the option to upload them privately since sometimes I upload rather personal pictures on my genitals to be able to save them on another PC tss. Being able to create groups and fan sites would be awesome too, but please block me from being able to make a fan site since it would most likely be the only site with any members. Thanks.

Do you mean "Profile Posts?"

Lul that would be a great idea... Except for one thing, if I were to post stuff like this, all you would be reading is "So bored...."

If you want to do that then you also have to consider how profiles are presented and how content across the site is distributed.

I'm very sorry, but I cannot do this.

Originally, there were plans for an SRF make over. Multiple of them, actually, throughout the years. The moderators which you find so lacking, have come up with page after page of ideas and suggestions, some of which they came up with themselves, and some of which were requested by the community.

However, these were never implemented because Ryoko would always lose interest halfway, if not sooner, and the plans were put in the freezer for the next time we'd try to improve the forums. The last time this happened was only a few months ago, actually, this very thread instigated a new discussion on ways to improve SRF.

As an administrator I can do many things, but I cannot give you any of these things like extended profile pages and the like. I've really tried, but I can't. Ryoko's the only one who has access to every nook and cranny of SRF, and for these Facebook like wishes you have, unfortunately, I need access to those nooks and crannies.
