Dont you think its time to cull the population of screenshots sometime soon? We have quite a number and mroe often than not there are low ranked images of all pretty much the same thing.

I realise you may/do have more pressing issues than this in your life but I dont so chop chop now ;P

i only take my sometimes lol funny ones or of me after a few levels doing something (usually get low ranks) but stil you got a point remove the early one's or something

hmmm maybe we could work out a system?

if it is not above a rank of, let say for now 7 then after 10 days it gets deleted?

or just set all to a time period, only thing about that is really good ones will go too.

also people might just repost their pics after the time period, makes a lot more work for those who have to approve pics.

I don't post screenies here much because I generally post them when I want to use them in a post, and imageshack doesn't make me wait for approval. Sometimes if I take a cool shot I'll put it here just so people can see it.

It is more than time to clean them out.

Due to the quantity of shots, however - I am going to make a script to do this.

I'll focus more on getting it done and finishing it.

there are some really good screenshots in there that have been voted low though, ones taken for the actual picture, it'd be a shame to let them go to waste, maybe have a 'gallery' of this sort of ones.

the screenies system could be used for the roflcopters and omg leetleetwoot! kind of pictures.

There are some funny pics that were voted low, things with text and noobs that made me laugh

But we have a lot of those, I wasn't worried too much about missing a few

Dem, the only alternative is this: Someone doing it by hand.

AND THEN? you'd get things like this:

'Why was mine deleted? unfair! '

With a script doing it, our hands our washed clean.....

have a time limit on all and maybe an archive for the one that have been removed form the ratings because the good one's can get to stay somewere for people to view

excellent idea wong. all screenies last for 2 weeks, say, after which they highest rated ones go into an archive (or ones tht someone hand-selects; maybe the moderator from the artist's lounge could have this duty?)
