As you may have noticed, the News and Announcement section has been lacking updates for quite some time now. I've stopped playing Silkroad Online a long time ago already, and I am not in the position to check the website often enough to keep you guys up to date.
However, seeing the numbers of active SRO players on SRF, I figured I might as well pass the task to some of you.

SRF is currently looking for two Heralds to post every bulletin on the official SRO website.
News should be posted as quickly as possible, in their original state (grammar changes allowed), including links and images.
We require people that can check the official website several times a day and post anything new on SRF.
Active Silkroad Online players are preferred, but it it is not mandatory.
The chosen ones will get a special Herald rank and will be able to create new threads in the News and Announcements section.

Now, several other staffmembers - whose name I shall not write down* - suggested a battle royal, including exploding collars to determine the most suitable SRF'ers to keep us all up to date on everything Silkroad Online.
Although this could be highly entertaining, I suggest we keep it a little more civilised.

So, tell us why you want to and can be a suitable SRF herald, either by replying in this thread or by sending an active staffmember a private message.

You have until Tuesday, March 22nd to sign up for a possible position. After that, this thread will be closed and the staff will make their decision.

Basically a messenger. A carrier of important news, etc.

hi
yeah, I think I am suitable for this little job.
ive been playing sro pretty much since the beginning. I check the sro homepage every single day, in fact, I check it every time I open an internet browser, because the sro site is my homepage. (dont worry! SRF is my homepage on the 2nd tab lol)

ive also been the herald on my old union forum, its dead now, but back in the day we had like 200+ ppl checking it every day. so yay, I got a damn great CV lol.

i'm also active on SRF, as you all know

we will see how this turns out, and take care everybody

I think I'd be decent with it.

I stay up on update dates and wait till the minute it opens, nor do I bot like most people in here so I get to see the launcher unlike they do

I play a lot, and I'm a good copypasta, I mean ask cpinney, he sees my facebook
