Can't start topic...?

Hey guys, I've posted at this forum before but for some reason the board wouldn't allow me to post any threads. I'm receiving the "choose an avatar" error. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It wouldn't? Are you able to post now? Did you have a Avatar before? Also, depends where you're trying to post maybe.

I didn't have an avatar before. I'm trying to start a topic in the Character and Skills section. I still can't start a thread there...strange...
Edit: Found the solution...I had to read the "fine print" about putting in my location. Sorry bout that
