How about instead of postcounts, we rank people in order of how long they have been here. Isn't being dedicated better than inflating postcounts with spam posts right?

So for example if you joined since 2006 you would have highest rank and if you joined a week ago, you would have the lowest rank.

so what do the mods think, good or bad idea

I think it's a bad idea.
Getting the next rank on the forums (without spamming) is like a goal, some thing to challenge you. And it give you more of a reason to stay, because you have a goal. My goal is to become a veteran member

I think you need to stop worrying about postcounts that much. Seriously, is it like.. keeping you awake at night? let it be.

what are you talking about, I've never been obsessed with postcounts before, I just thought of an idea that might be good

Just the bare thought about postcounts is considered a crime.

Wouldn't that make like goog/yahoo bots high rank and stuff eventually too? lol or Lurkers who've just simply made an acc.
