Yes that stoopid problem. I dont know if everyones aware of this .. but for those who arent .. when the "Detailed Shadow" setting is applied a terrible fps drop happends in SRO (Unless runing on some form of Linux). Ive posted a topic on the SRO forums and in their bug section and im keeping it bumped .. i dont know if they will ever fix it .. but its worth a shot .. if anyone is willing to help .. just look for the post by SiIvia or SeksiNurse from Troy servers about the Detailed shadows.
