Rizla's referring to some random dude that popped up and asked for a Signature. This comes to the idea that, perhaps, it'd be good to either have a tiny Subforum, like all the Subforums in the Guilds & Clans section, or atleast a Stickied thread that could especially handle requests, in a clear, and concise format, thus, making it easier for the person fufilling the request (such as Rizla), to make a Signature. After all, these artists are offering their own time, and the least someone could do is make their job easier.

I agree with Rizla - even if no Subforum is made, I think an attempt to make some sort of Stickied thread, would be good.

i have another suggestion. dont ask me the specs or the bandwidth it would
use.. but on a forum i used to be on a lot, we had the option to show youtube
videos in posts by putting the youtube url between [youtube] and [/youtube].

like i said, i dont know how this can be embedded in the forum or how much
of the bandwidth it would take, but perhaps this could be a sort of new "fun
factor" and we could have real stickied youtube threads for player movies
and fun movies etc.

if you think this is a good suggestion, i could pm the mods on the other forum
to ask em some details.

Suggestion: Multi-Quoting System
Reason: I think its a great feature if you want to respond to multiple people in 1 post. You dont have to click "Quote" on one, copy the post, hit back, go into the next, repeat, etc.

Suggestion: More characters allowed in your Signature (as opposed to the current 400)
Reason: There's just not enough - the BBCode stuff, like linking URL's take up quite a bit of space already, so I was just wondering if it'd be possible to atleast expand the Sig limit to around 700 or so?

For example...
I wanted to do this in my Sig:
The Complete Blader

Now, those are only three words, or a few characters.
However, what I had to put in was:
[url=http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=43909]The Complete Blader[ /url]
(Take out the space)... which amounts to quite a bit more characters that take up valuable space.

As you can see, would it really take up that much bandwidth or whatever it's called

to make the Character Limit a bit more? As I like to link a few things in my Sig, but I can't, because that'll take away from the space available to put other things in my Sig. I understand this might be a problem for people who will have massive Sigs... but... hm.

unless you want a sig with like 10 or more of them your not gona need more spaces, i hate the size of some peoples sigs and i think mine is too big aswell 250chars would be enough

Theoretically it wouldn't take anymore bandwidth as the videos are hosted externally but I could be wrong. Very wrong.

i would like a place were you can find a guild to make a war with, like i post my guilds lvl but not members cuz thats a secrete and i post my server and then whoever wants to accept th GW just replies then we meet and we do it

also a story section, personnally i would like to hear bout other ppls stories and stuff like that, some stories r intresting =P

One more thing, I don't know if this forum board format allows it, but if it does, can an admin (or mod if you guys can do it...) turn on Javascript '[hide][/hide]' I need it for a guide I'm writing and I think it'll help organize all the guides much better, saves cin the trouble of linking every guide w/ # scripts.

meh idk, to be honest, the other forum im on is close to spambot-free,

Hm.... well this might actually make spam bots more lethal. They can put up a picture that can look like a video but is actually a malware link, but still, despite all of this it'd be nice to have video's in my sig as I hate spending time making them.

Reason: There's times when there are absoutely no mods around, and certain people reak havoc on our poor little community.
Some subforums have a lack of moderators as well, what if the mod was to go on vacation or something?
