Are you guys ready to move to PHPBB 3.0?

Its available. I have no idea what the Captain has in customizations but I personally think we should upgrade. What do you think? We are ready and willing and able to do the upgrade as long as it does not break anything on the forum.

This has already been under discussion and planning for a long time in the Mod and Admin Team.

Yes we are planning to Upgrade to 3.0. Ryoko is still working on some Preps. So, official word will come out in due time from Either Ryoko or SG.

I noticed several people requesting a sub-forum system to be put in place. Ryoko has been alerting people that it isn't possible in phpBB2.

I am not sure if phpBB3 supports sub-forums, but if he plans on moving, I won't work on a sub-forum modifacation for phpBB2, because it would be a waste of time.

Personally, phpBB3 looks impressive, but it's still in early stages. I suggest you wait until they announce a perfectly stable release for it.
