Big pics in threads are annoying tbh, especially when you play on a lower res of SRO and browse these forums in the meanwhile.

There's several mods available for phpBB that dynamically (meaning no server stress/extra bandwidth) resize images larger than certain set dimensions, or simply link them instead.. Also a great pre-emptive strike against browser-crashing spammers.

Just something to chew on.

I agree with you on the big pictures.
Well we've been waiting to migrate to PHPBB 3.0 and its going to happen very soon so we'll see what we can do =)
