My MMORPG addiction started back with the first Everquest. I loved the huge world and the players and different monsters and everything. I would run around and make high lvls bind me xD this one dude chased me around the whole town just so he could bind me to the city. I was fun but then my parents took away my internet cuz this was back in the day and we were on dial up aol. So i stopped playing. But yea EQ1 and 2 are fun but SRO i just like it i dunno why

I really dunno because I never played EQ, but looking at ratings, I'd say Everquest

I never played everquest but everquest 2 rips silkroad apart. The only MMO that gets close to WoW imo.

Well considering Everquest 1 is considered a staple to the MMO world, if you honestly are that interested I would say play eq1.

The game right now is very hard to jump right in considering how long it has been out. All my characters from eq1 are still active but they are also up to date gear and max level. Most people in the game are at this same point, so you may not find the game to be that great simply because it is difficult.

Eq1 is not a carebear game...it never was. If your PC can run it, play everquest 2. But keep eq1 in the back of your mind. If eq1s population came back I would quit eq2 in a heartbeat. Everquest 1 was possibly the best game I have ever played.

I can go in to tons of detail and write paragraphs upon paragraphs which you most likely will not read. I have tons of information about the game, I played it from release until current. So if you need to ask anything mate just shoot me a PM.

I have honestly no idea why these 2 games are up for comparison lol
