The Game was inspired by DotA. I've considered playing DotA but never felt like going through all the trouble of putting warcraft back on my lappy then balh blah blah. Anyway im looking forward to this.

Like i said its kinda like DotA so theres 2 armies on different sides of the map and theres 3 portals where your troops spawn in. The longer you play and the more gold you have the better the troops becomes so you start off with archers and losers and you end up with angels and giants. Theres 2 types of characters you can play as The General and The Assassin. The General plays a more support role inspiring troops, demoralizing enemies, make special units, etc. The Assassin plays a more 1vs1 role himself being a one man army that you'll spend gold on to give him more skills and buffs so that he can take out troops easier. The Giant Stone guy with the hammer and the Diseased Beast Creature are Assassins. The Plant Lady, that Guy on a Chair, and that Flaming Skeleton Guy were Generals.

You Win the game by destroying your opponents castle on the other side of the map which is guarded by towers and such plus whatever you decide to upgrade it with but you can also turn the battle in your favor by destroying enemy portals so they'll have less troops. So theres strategy involved and your choice of General or Assassin will determine how you play the game and turn the tides of battle.

Anyway the game looks lovely and is set for a Spring 2009 release. One thing i've noticed is there isn't alot of variety in units. In a game like this i'd like to see at least a hundred different types of creatures available just to keep things interesting. Also balancing out the General and Assassins so they are equally good depending on how they are used will be a challenge. I'll download it when it comes out, if i like it i'll buy it so i can play online. I normally play RTS's by myself but this seems a bit different and alot funner.

it'll work best if it's an overhead strategy game

somehow i think dota will still be better gameplay wise than this game, lol
