Is halo really that good, i saw few pics, didnt impress me, but ppl are praising it so much, what makes it such a popular game.

The answer is no, its overrated. Microsoft told everybody it was the best Sh!t you ever saw and everyone jumped on the bandwagon, but to be fair the first one was ok, anything after that just plain crap.

i wasnt impressed by it either but halo 3 online is a hell of a lot of fun, it dont need to be a good what makes it good is it has a large user base so you always got someone to play with, i like that

calling the other halo games crap is exaggerating...there are far too many games worse than them to call them crap. I enjoy halo 3 online quite a bit, the campaign was just so-so tho

Maybe not compared to other games...but at least in the little place inside my head: Halo 1 < Halos = crap.

Not living up to the expactations after halo one, doesn't mean theyre crap. Fact is number two and three we're still far better then a lot of releases on the 360. Just not as good as the first one. Oh and halo 3 online is

Halo is teh awesomeness especially when you mess with people online, as with the ongoing battle between COD 4 and halo 3 i personally like halo 3 better because of the gameplay. Even though i dont really play teh actual game, i just mess around, after being stuck at brigadier.

sorry but cod4 is a far better game

this is just my opinion of the franchise. Online is good to an extent(FARKING NADE WHORES)and were big and well balanced, but tbh most of the story felt like a big rip off of my other cherished franchises i love.

If you have this game you dont need anything else.

Halo 3 is the best, SP is mediocre, MP is were it shines, You get good, learn how to BR, get some fragging under your belt, get a good team going, play some CTF, play some tactics, own some noobs, drink some soda.

cod4 blows after about 50 hours of online and completion of story mode.


counterstrike and hpc 4 LYFE

iv played more then 50hours of cod4 online, on both pc and xbox im stil having fun

halo aint a rip off story, if anything other games rip it off. Halo is a book if im not mistaken

halo aint a rip off story, if anything other games rip it off. Halo is a book if im not mistaken

5 books, with a 6th coming soon. Even more if you count the graphic novels but they arnt strictly canon.

now theres some fresh gameplay. (story of the game that is, i suck at any online play in any game)
OT: you should buy halo 1 and if your like it play on from there.

i like the singleplayer but i thought multiplayer was fail

Its not, why so closed minded, halo had a fan base before 2 and 3 cod4 was met with sceptism after cod3. cod4 took off online and now i dont care what you say both may be good online but cod4 is the better

COD4 doesn't take as much skill, there might be the lower life but that means who ever shoots first wins.

Each battle in H3 as many more variables, faster grenades, beatdowns, fast guns, over shield, etc.

I put on COD4 and own some 55's easily, how? Noob Tube aka Grenade Launcher, it's over powered, so is Juggernaut.

COD4 is just too dumbed down for me.

They're both equal, no-one can prove one is better then the other.

i can beat people who are press 10 times, its simple they do challenges over and over in the 1v1 cage matchs

the real pros level from fighting, yeh nade launcher is over powered but when your playing a good match if you dont know hwo to use it properly you wont get a kill

So cod is better because of its ranking system....

hell no, cod is better because how the varibles involved

shooting though walls, throwing back granades and such make it exiting imo

the ranking system is flawed with challenges they are reset when you pres giving you a second chance to jump in a 1v1 cage and shout challenges over the mic or what ever

For me, when im looking for a game in COD4 it takes a few seconds but in halo, it takes ages.
