Read the info on video, or better yet i'll copy paste:
SourceTV from ESEA
I realize i'm not a great player, don't waste your breath. I just enjoy making videos, and seeing that I don't have a team, I don't have any other places to get footage.
***Sidenote: A lot of my shots look off because 30fps isn't enough to capture quick jerking onto target; just look up to the top right and you can see they connect.

Haha nice, I would've gone for that knife kill at around 1:20

You need to pay to play. Without paying all you can do is look at profiles and stuff. It records every match you play, and gives you a rating for your stats and shit. You can see other players, and put up ads for looking for a team or looking for a player. A lot of cal-i/cal-m/cevo-p/cevo-m/cgs players play, and there's always im players in every match. But, there's a ton of open players too. Basically, everyone there is open or higher, and is in the professional circuit or hoping to be good enough one day.
This is what a stat page looks like, one is posted after every match
Spoiler!
I'll snap a profile screenshot too if someone wants one, but I don't have one uploaded right now so I won't bother for nothing.
Alltalk is not on, it's a SourceTV recording - that's why you can see everyone on the minimap too. And everyone top tier team plays 2 short, 1 long, 1 mid/b, 1 b. That's the standard setup. For the short, a lot of players jump box to spot over the top and get an angle when there's no one else left on the other team that's able to flank.

I apologize Dom. Didn't mean to be the all knowing css player, kinda came over that way... Also I didn't even know what ESEA was standing for.
That guy whom was jumping on that box, he had an AWP and a deagle, I just don't really see that being a skilled player because his teammate just died on short and he would have known you were on the catwalk to A site That's why I didn't think it was a clan-(match).

Having a knife or pistol out makes you go faster, and helps you accelerate to top speed - it helps when you have to strafe and risk being shot by someone.
Also, switching after you shoot a sniper rifle (in almost all games), skips the animation of you zooming out, putting another bullet in the chamber, and zooming back in - it lets you shoot more bullets in the same period of time as someone who could just click and wait for the gun to do all that.
