Been bored so I've been playing this some and it's actually a really good server, all it needs is some more people.

WoW players here actually dislike these idiotic things they have the nerve to call 'WoW' private servers. As they have nothing to do with the real game.

I actually play both. I havea 49 hunter on retail that I play. But I play on these when I'm bored So I can watch all the Idiots go, OMG THIS IS SO COOL I'M 70 in 10 MINUTES

I Like this particular one because You can build all 3 talent trees and experience all of them at once.

It's no different then all the Hype about the sro Private servers here. A few Wow servers are actually pretty popular like wowscape and Toxic wow.

The difference is though, SRO private servers work as intended, WoW ones do not. (broken talents and skills)

ummm If they are that Broken then it's a crap server lol. The one's I've been on have Talent's and Skills bugged on purpose to avoid conlflict with the custom gear. lol I got .18 attack speed with a Hunter due to a bug I found.

The Link I posted is Instant 100. Lvl up to 200. ANd then Beat the crap outta everyone in .t pvp (got's port commands)


Wowscape is a blizzlike one that Has 4 servers for diff rates. Google it and you might like it.

I've made my own WoW server.. the emu isn't that great, and I've used all of them. A lot of stuff don't work and you just basically lvl faster.. nothing special. Plus the lands are so large and the servers so small with people you never see anyone...

I played on WoWscape. It's broken beyond belief.
Off the top of my head
- Holy Nova was removed due to being that broken
- Hunter pets are completely broken
- No hunter talent applies boosts to anything BUT auto-ahot

If I read the other class forums on there, they'd tell me what their bugs were.

It is not a problem in the client. It is a server-side issue because the emulator is not accurate. That's without mentioning the lack of scripting.

How long ago did you play on it
My hunter's pet works as well as retail one so far. All the talent's work fine for me. All private servers are still fixing errors cause by the latest patch cause of a memory leak also.

And if your on a server that has no one on it really, umm Change lol. Cause there are plenty of servers that are packed. There are even a couple with x1 rates and Full Blizlike with no custom DB at all. I personally like wow p Servers better than sro servers cause most private servers are always full still, Wow ones, not so much.

I played on Scape I said. =P And just over a month ago, before I started retail. You can't even get half the pet talents, and BM and Survival trees are completely broken.

I was just on Wowscape and BM seems to be working fine now. Infact that's what I use now. There's still bugs, but wow is a really expansive game with a lot of stuff, And wowscape has managed to fix a bunch of bugs I think.

Can someone explain to me why we can talk about WoW private servers which should be illegal(unless it is already -_-) because its a game you should pay money for and yet we can't talk about emulators or whatnot?

The only bad this is that Silkroad only has 1 major private server. WoW has thousands which make getting players to fill the servers impossible. I doubt the completed server files will get released anytime soon.
I would rather have a log in and already maxed lvl server for silkroad.

Well, a regular silk buyer should (on average) spend more on SRO than WoW.

If I ever want to quit retail WoW I might this it again, check out every class with all endgame gear, run trough all raids 1 shotting everything untill Im bored witth the entire game after 90 minutes and never have the need to play again

Too bad you don't actually get to experience boss fights as 1 person. The best fights are the ones that have multiple things going on that your raid must delegate to get done in order to beat the encounter (adds, cube clicking, etc)

I meant that -this- takes away all the fun in the game impo, so if I ever get seriously 'addicted' to WoW and it interferes with important RL stuff or something ( ) I'll just spoil all the things that I could possibly want to aquire in retail WoW so that playing months of retail WoW becomes needless and uninteresting thus allowing me to easily leave the game.

Ofcourse friends, guildies and raiding like that are exceptions, but Im not all that much about pve yet. You probably know what I'm trying to say

tbh iv been on and off private servers, yeh they are fun both blizlike servers and fun, but the fun servers are full of bugs and the blizlike servers get annoying with the smaller bugs, not found a bug free one i prefer retail by far
