I like how for melee you dont click attack and watch, you have to pick the weakest point and the faster you press your attack key for that point, the faster you attack.

I could not have been more hyped for any game than AoC and I was sooo disappointed.
The game isn't anywhere near finished and should be a beta.

I'm a level 80 Necromancer.

If you wanna play this game roll a Barbarian or Tempest of Set. Current pvp is 1 shot or be 1 shotted.
ToS has imba stun + 1%->100% HP spell and heals and Farking everything, just so overpowered it aint funny any more.
Barbarian is like a rogue/warrior from WoW and he plows through everything in his way in 1 shot.

Plix tell me what you think of it I'm also looking for a new game and i've been wondering about AoC. Have no clue if i can run it smoothly on my comp tho...

30gig, and it's still smaller than Kalimdor in wow.

It's all graphics and cutscenes + voice acting.

@Flightmeck, it doesn't run smooth on any PC.
The game is supposed to give super big pvp, but there's no PC that can take more than 20vs20.

I run a 8800GT and E8400 dual core 3Ghz and 2 gig memory and I already had big problems while running keshetta dm groups. That basically means you pull an entire camp of +/- 20 mobs and nuke them.
Then when there were corpses we'd pull the next group over it and detonate the corpses. My PC would freeze to death.
(It sounds cool, but this DM farming is the only thing you can do to level up 74-80 and it takes about 3 hours per level. That's 18 hours in the exact same spot with the exact same mobs and spawns)


To compare the size: wow has I think 6 zones for 60-70.
Age of conan has 1 zone for 70-80.

WoW has countless quests from 60-70.
Age of conan has less than 50 quests to do 70-80.


When it just launched I was willing to say: ok.. it's fresh.. it will have issues.
This game has been here for a good 2 months now, and it still sucks balls. Their entire team is on the game creating fixes and there's still no pvp patch. End game dungeons are still bugged.

Want to know what they're focussing on?
A level 55-60 zone.
The end game is non existant.. and they put all their power in creating some midlevel zone.

I quit at level 20 :0)

I bought a brand new computer for this game and I regret spending my money on it. I can run everything maxed out on high with decent fps.
