Re: SSB:Brawl
if u want the multiplayer aspect of the game, then theres no question- Get it.
if u want it for the single player - its 50:50 for most. Cutscenes are one of nintendo's best but gameplay is ridiculously repetitive and simple.
if ur looking for online play, then forget it.

That pretty much sums it up. Also wifi reminds me of this motivational poster I saw in another forum:

Re: SSB:Brawl
People whine about online being bad because of either A) Lag or B) Rules (2 min Time Battle).
Online is still fun to me, but once in a while you do get some guy who lags the hell out of you.
The game is worth it as there are a lot of unlockables, and challenges to complete. The game starts to die when you finish that damn challenge board though
Boss Battles Intense kept me playing but once that and the other challenges are done all thats left is the multiplayer. The story mode is kinda bland
But still worth buying.

You forgot C) Too many extremely stupid noobs with almost no strategy other than spamming smashes until one of them hits. It's way more entertaining watching some of their games through spectator modes because they do some of the dumbest things I ever seen, like the lucas/ness player who doesn't know how to recover. But overall online blows because sometimes it takes too long to find any match, no option to turn off CPUs or make matches 3 player or 1v1, Lag/Delay that messes with someone's meta game, no option for stock matches, and the fact that most of the players you will be dealing with are so dumb with their move sets that it can actually make your smash skill get worse.
All said and done you're much better off playing in person with other friends especially if there's plenty of good local players around your area. There's no lag or wait when you're playing on the same Wii and there's a much higher chance of you finding players that have a developed game rather than doing the typical roll and smash methods.
