This game is going to Farking suck. It's not made by Infinity Ward, but by Treyarch who made Call of Duty 3 which was shit.

I very much doubt that it's been close to being announced yet, CoD5 Has just been announced (officially).
And yes it's WWII again, but that's what CoD is the master of, It's using a very rare theater that's used in FPS. Something new. Can't judge whether it will be good or bad yet, Yes it is made by the team that farked up CoD3, but this is now and NOT Europe. I can't wait to see what will happen.

Call of Duty: World at War is developed by Treyarch and will be the fifth installment of the series (ninth, counting expansion packs and early console variations) and was confirmed on December 2, 2007. On June 9, 2008, it was confirmed that the game will be titled Call of Duty: World at War and will be set in the Pacific theater and Eastern front of World War II. Call of Duty: World at War will be released for Wii, PS3, PS2, Xbox 360, and PC. While the game is not titled as "Call of Duty 5," it is still the fifth game of the main series.[4]

I hated CoD 1,2,3 But the reason WHY I liked number 4 becuase it was set on modern warefare. WW2 is SO Overused ¬¬.

Cod 4 is crap. The fun of world war 2 is that it was a suicide mission. Cod 2 IMO was the best.

personally im gonna look forward to this, ive played all of the CoDs and im stilla major fan of the CoD United offence game. I Like them being set in the older times, CoD 4 was just battlefield 3 for me :/

What's up with all the prejudice towards the makers of the game and their setting ?
The trailer looks bloody good .. animations are beautiful. Let's just wait and till we get more ingame footage and perhaps a demo? Half of you probably never even played CoD3 and seem to 'hate it' lol.
There's nothing wrong with a WW2 game. Hell, I'd love to go do another Omaha beach storm with today's graphics.

they should stick to modern or future warfare, I think we have enough WWII games. COD4 was their biggest selling COD game why go back to WWII >.<. I'll probably be passing this game up.

has there ever been a WWI game? i dont think ive ever seen 1 lol. i think the should do vietnam or the korean war, WWII is way overused. futuristic would be interesting, but i think it should be like 50-60 years into the future when the earth is pretty much destroying itself lol, instead of 150+ years with weird scientific weapons
