ok so I installed rome total war today (my friend didn't want it)

and when I clicked start, it didn't run. Do I need a video card for rome total war? I mean its 4 years old. My laptop is 4 years old too, so shouldn't it be able to run without having to buy a video card?

Rome's a pretty graphically intensive game IIRC. If it just plain doesn't start I doubt an old video card would be the reason though.

your right, it isn't an issue of the video card, I patched the game and now it works, thanks.
