See, that's the thing. I've only been playing for about an hour or two, but the game seems VERY well done.
Maybe it's just another "Joymax" company, but I'm gonna give this one a try.
Does characters work across the different servers?

I had high hopes and anticipation for this game but I'm disappointed by its non-sandbox nature and railroad track quest system...At least that's what I perceive from watching a first impression video of it on Youtube...I thought it would have lots more freedom with a highly persistent world...

I do believe that the restrictive quest line is mainly for the first levels, and that it'll become more open-world after you've learned the basic systems by completing the first quests.
I guess I'll just have to find out

I like Swordsman Online but I got really bored after awhile, but it's not a bad game that's for sure. It's worth playing for awhile or forever if you really like it.
