Empire Earth indeed, I went by the name Hades ( coolest online name eva as a kid, lol as an adult ). Don't remember what version, its been far too long, I just remember the standard 10k initial resources, somewhere between the ages, stuff happened then.

I remember people asking me to 2vs1 all the time, good times = )

ps. I say top 3 because I know there were a couple of other people who outplaying was simply not possible so victory would be decided by the ultimate rock paper scissors it became once you had top level macro; for anyone to claim top player is silly.

Starting out earlier then Copper age sucked though. due to farms.

and omg EE:2 was the biggest disapointment of my life =.=

Oh really?

I always loved starting from prehistoric age and making a ton of those dudes with the logs. Then advance all the way to atomic age and send in my log warriors with Aircraft support XD

I also remember I used to think the game gave the worker dudes names D:
I only knew 'villager' from age of empires, but in EE they were called 'Citizen'. For the longest time however I was misreading 'Citizen' as 'Clitzen'. I thought it was giving them names until a few days in it dawned to me that every time I had thought to look at their name it had been 'Clitzen'... I was dumb :<
Didn't know what Citizen meant, so I continued to read Clitzen till my dyslexic sister pointed out it was Citizen I was ten Q_Q

Did anyone ever notice... How was the CG in the EE intro SO GOOD?!? This is 2001 and it's on par with CG clips in contemporary games. It was seriously sick D:
