Halo 1, 2 and 3 official groups have appeared on Steam!
Only valve can make official groups so is this possibly the teasing of the games appearing on Steam?

Not owning an X360 console I'm incredibly thrilled to hear that I might finally be able to finish the trilogy <3

X0 underperforming, W8 horrible sales, Mobile market pretty bad. They should definitely be feeling some pressure.
Besides, almost everybody who has an x360 has the game already since they released it for free. Meanwhile there's always been a pretty high demand for the game to be released on PC, which is also the only crowd left to pay for it. Unless they'd go so far as to publish it for PS before PC
But that seems extremely unlikely

Anyway, one can hope.
Otherwise also, what's the use of the steam group?

as someone who spent a good three years playing halo 3 on the console, i'd love to be able to run around on it via pc again.

Well, I read the article through the app called "AppyGamer", so I'm quite unsure where the article is now. I'll search for it, though.

I guess those leaks from a year ago were real. I guess they were too busy discussing contracts with Valve and Valve jumped the gun too early in pushing out the APPIDs

good, Halo 3 was that last Halo game I could enjoy. Halo 4 and Reach were horribly stale and ODST/Wars was a joke.

I can understand disliking Halo Wars, since it was really an entirely different thing.
But what's so bad about ODST? Afaik it was pretty well received...

the funny thing about reach and 4 was that they actually tried to innovate (albeit in casual, cod-esque ways) with those games and it backfired hard. reach was an okay game extremely late in its life, once they gave the ability to take off bloom but yeah - far from perfect.

i'd throw my money for halo 1/2/3 on steam.. with ability to play multiplayer. not going to happen mp wise i'd assume, but a man can dream
