ArcheAge: SRO Features, On Land and Sea + Lots More

These players are doing a trade run along some coast or between continents....Looks like a lot of fun.... That big ship following them is acting as their escort (probably their guild members) running protection from pirates ships operated by other players (Thieves)...The game is not out yet but it's hugely anticipated...Lots of people waiting for a western release which is due anytime this year.....
The on sea aspect is just one of it's features....These ships have to be built from materials (wood, iron, fabric) gathered, mined and crafted....The ships have interactive parts to it where it needs 2 or more crew members to operate certain parts like manning the helm, raising and lowering the sail etc....The bigger the ship the more deck hands (players) needed...There are also sea battles with warships....What you guys think?.....

It appears they're not ready for CBT as of yet. At least not to the public. The game is out in Korea as you can see from the video. Some players can't wait and are playing the Korean version...Not sure how they're able to...

That sucks. This game look awsome. Castle building ship building and trading ? nice! Wonder if the castles are guild castles ?

If there is I must have missed it in my search...The game should be out this year though according to Wikipedia...People have been anxiously waiting for it since 2012 I think and there was mentioning of it being released at the end of 2013...If you go to their website they're accepting application for CBT so I'd say soon...

Here is a little thieving/piracy action between two small vessels...lol...The chase is kinda funny...The trader tried to run his vessel ashore and quickly un-summon it (not wanting it left behind to be destroyed) hoping to get away on land... I don't know what the thieves where doing at the end there....
Here is a nice quiet uninterupted trade run on a small vessel...

That's kinda the idea that me and my brother had for an MMO. Nice to see someone making it. Though it's not exactly what we had in mind, the concept is the same. They need to get their hands on that AC4 ocean simulation though.

Apparently you can go fishing out at sea in this game too...and then sell your catch...Not sure how profitable it would be but it seems like a good past time with friends...
I just love the ocean life aspect of this game so much that I easily forget it's a full blown MMO lol...

A nice way to get around in the game.... I bet trade robbers also use this to scout the trade routes and swoop down to attack a trade run on land....

I know. But that's not how physics works. The thing looks so top heavy that it's gonna flip. That's probably why real hang gliders have the wings above you.

Ok so i found out that we can actualy play the game on the russian server with english patch , i manage to get an account and now i`m downloading it. i`ll let ya guys know if i get in , and after i`ll link the guides how to get in . this game looks amazing silkroad alike :X:X:X

All i can say , this game is amazingggggggggg , you can build your own house/castle , you can make farms and plant trees , raise animals like ducks pigs etc (you rob others farm) you can build trader/hunter/thief ships (same conflict as in silkroad but the war takes on the sea ) and after that you still have the pvp/pve from dungeons and and shits like the other mmorpgs and lots lots more , i love it :X viewtopic.php?f=76&t=135479

would love to play this game. However i don't wanna start over when the NA version comes out T_T
