is anybody playing it? so far i'm loving it, old ffxiv players are saying its a totally different game to 1.0 also, so i think square may have finally done some good lol! it feels very much like ff12 too, i'm having a blast playing it, so if you're from the uk or eu, or even na be sure to apply for beta! at the very least, check out open beta when released as it's free 'p2p at release'.

I'm on the Moogle server, and it's epic! be sure to reg on that server, specifically if you're uk/eu timezones!

Well I always was stunned by the old FFXIV (Visuals, Bosses such like Garuda, Ifrit, King Moogle and Nael van Darnus, not only that, I love the OST as well)

Only watched the Gameplays on Youtube but ya, the Graphic is way to insane for such a MMORPG ^^

I hope they add more Bosses like Gilgamesh (Why didn't they add him at all ....), all Summons/Eidolons/Espers such like Leviathan, Asura, Shiva, Diabolo and Cactuar (Another one they missed out...) since as I have seen it, the World in the old FFXIV was pretty much huge.

Got into the beta, played a little, not sure I see the attraction. It wouldn't be bad for a free game, but $30 + $12 every month, no thanks.

My moneys on it going F2P a few months after release.

open beta is coming soon! you should give it more time toast! the first few hours are lame, but get into a good linkshell or fc and the content even in closed beta is awesome! very much a pve game though, and ps3 really needs a keyboard to be playable imo, typing, member/mob selecting!

leviathan seems like the most popular server, that or gilgamesh. i'll probably be on leviathan by p4/release!

also closed beta is missing loads of content such as player housing, pvp, higher level jobs 'evolution of classes pugilist > monk etc' gold saucer, voice acting and more. this beta is basically a demo.

Thank god, the mouths moving and nothing coming out annoyed me.
Still wouldn't pay for the game though.

Will this be able for download on PSN when CB comes out?

Love this game also waiting for FFXV verses, best graphics ive ever seen. Characters look so real.

State of the game right now unfortunately...

yeah, it had some login issues at launch but with over 200k players online at any given time, its gonna happen. im confident it will be fixed by wednesday though, as scheduled.

seriously an epic game though imo! it can only get better too with future content.

player housing, free company 'guild' housing, chocobo breeding, pvp, crystal tower, bahamut, odin and behemoth fates....to name like 1% of stuff you can do!

BUMP. Is this game worth playing?

yeah 100% has great end game raids, pvp looks solid and is coming soon. player housing looks good too, and crafting or gathering is really deep and like levelling your main fighting class!
