Would anyone be interested in playing/hosting one？

I don't play all that much. But playing alone gets boring.

I have yet to try Minecraft, although it has grown on me a little bit. And I don't think servers would work on a pirated version so probably not going to play there.

I paid for hosting one for a while, but they get expensive. People would need to donate to help offset some of the cost, and since most people probably think like Sanktum (no offense), that probably ain't gonna happen.

6 slots with 256mb ram? o.O That seems way too little, even for a vanilla server.

My friends and I have a server although we havent been active on it for a long time. Maybe I can ask them how they would feel about letting SRF people play on it. Or we could try and host a vanilla server just for here.

In all honesty the server is fully operational. It just has our old companies info on it that we're still weeding out. You guys can go on and play. If a guy name Rufis (our mc server manager) asks, just say Gaige sent ya, it will be all good. Server is owned and run by Ecstasy Servers/MCNode, I co-own both.

We also have teamspeak and ventrilo servers for you guys to connect to. I don't have the list atm as I'm at a friends place and I keep as my passwords to view server lists locked down on my PC so no access to the info atm.

Got bored and figured I would give that mcnode one a try, but I have to confirm a password ingame or it wont allow me to do anything. Is that something new they added Gaige or?

No, the mod has been around for awhile. Just type /register and watch chat it will help you figure out the rest.

This is what I get.

I typed /password as you said and it replied with the 6th line from the top (Usage etc). From there on it just keeps spamming that register shit. Copying the text doesn't work because that is obviously not the password. I'm not sure how it is supposed to show me the way if all it does is spam '/register password ConfirmPassword' =p

It means to type in your password twice to confirm.

Eg /register bfissexy bfissexy

Then /login bfissexy

^Lol at password.

Lol I kept using ConfirmXxxx, figured you had to put the confirm first. But ok I get it now x)

We also host a TS and a Ventrilo, our ventrilo often gets crowded and we had to up it from 25 slots to 50. I'm not a fan of Ventrilo but I love keeping it full.
